About Devour Destinations
What We Do
Devour Destinations is a review and guide site dedicated to immersive dining experiences across the United States. We cover murder mystery dinners, themed dinner cruises, dinner theater shows, underground supper clubs, and every other creative concept where the experience matters as much as the food.
Every guide on this site is built from a combination of first-hand attendance, interviews with event organizers, and extensive research into pricing, availability, and guest feedback. We do not publish content about experiences we have not thoroughly vetted.
Why This Site Exists
If you have ever searched for “murder mystery dinner near me” or “best dinner cruise,” you know the problem: the top results are either the companies themselves (who obviously say they are great), or generic listicles written by someone who has never been to a single one.
Devour Destinations exists to fill that gap. We attend the experiences, we compare them honestly, and we tell you which ones are worth your time and money — including when the answer is “this one is not worth it.” Our goal is to be the resource we wished existed before we started attending these events ourselves.
How We Review
Our reviews and guides follow a consistent process. For every experience we cover, we look at the quality of the performance or entertainment, the food and drink, the venue and atmosphere, the value relative to price, and how well the experience delivers on what it promises.
We pay particular attention to how experiences work for different audiences — couples, large groups, families, and solo attendees all have different needs, and we try to address each one directly in our guides.
When we recommend booking through a specific platform, we include affiliate links that earn us a small commission at no additional cost to you. This is how we fund the site and continue attending new experiences. It does not influence our recommendations — we frequently recommend experiences that do not have affiliate programs, and we will tell you to skip experiences that do.
